Honey Cornflakes Recipe

Assalamualaikum dan selamat malam.

For this entry, I think I should post in English since I'm very happy and glad to share some of my recipes with my hooliesister, Daniela :D so Ela, I'll share some versions of the Honey Cornflakes recipes for you to try. Viel Gluck ;)

Version number 1.

Toasted Honey Cornflakes with Almond
Ingredients:
7 cups of cornflakes
1 cup of butter
3/4 cup of honey
2 cups of almond slices (toasted)
Cherries
Methods:
Pour softened butter and honey onto bowl of cornflakes and almonds then mix well.Place in cookie cups, sprinkle tiny bits of cherry and bake in 170º for 10 minutes to make them chrunchy.

Version number 2.

Ingredients:
90 g butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon honey
4 cups cornflakes
Methods:
Melt the butter, sugar, and honey in a saucepan until sugar is dissolved and mixture is frothy. Pour the mixture over the cornflakes until all the cornflakes are coated. Place in cookie cups, put a tray into 150º for 12 minutes or until slightly golden. Once out of the oven, leave cups to cool a little and harden. Keep in an airtight container.

Version number 3.

Ingredient:
40g butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp honey
2 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Raisins (optional)
Methods:
1. Melt butter over low heat.
2. Add in sugar and honey, stir till sugar is dissolved.
3. Add in corn flakes, nuts or raisins and mix well.
4. Spoon into small paper cups and bake at 180 degrees for 10 mins.

Version number 4.
Ingredients:
  • 125 gm butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 7 tbsp honey
  • 6 cups cornflakes
  • 1 cup raisins 
  • 1 cup chopped roast almond/cashewnut
  •  Chopped green/red cherries
Methods:

  1. Heat ingredients A until the butter melts completely.
  2. Add B into A and mix together until even.
  3. Spoon the cornflakes mixture into paper cups.
  4. Garnish with cherries.
  5. Bake in oven at 170'C for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Cool the cookies and keep in an airtight container.
